Today, TIME and OpenAI announced a partnership to increase people’s understanding of how to use artificial intelligence effectively and responsibly in daily life. 

As AI continues to reshape how people work, learn, and connect, ensuring widespread understanding of the technology has become essential. OpenAI has launched its AI literacy platform to support this need.

"Through initiatives like the OpenAI Academy and OpenAI Certifications, we’re working to help people build real fluency in AI — how it works, where it’s useful, and how to use it responsibly. TIME has long helped people make sense of the world around them, and this partnership brings that trusted context together with accessible AI literacy for a much broader audience,” said OpenAI Chief Global Affairs Officer Chris Lehane.

“Artificial intelligence is reshaping every aspect of society, and TIME is committed to helping audiences navigate this moment with trusted journalism and meaningful context. This partnership with OpenAI aligns with TIME’s legacy of informing the world and advancing public understanding of transformative technologies,” said TIME Chief Executive Officer Jessica Sibley.
