UFC CEO [Dana White](https://time.com/7020074/dana-white-ufc-sphere-trump-interview/) confirmed on Tuesday that the fight would take place on July 4, 2026, the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. “It is definitely going to happen,” he [told](https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ufc-to-host-first-ever-white-house-fight-on-july-4-2026-dana-white/) the hosts of CBS Mornings.
