Jun 12, 2018 8:04 PM UTC Netflix has said it will extend the run of _Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown_ on the streaming service following the [star’s death](http://time.com/5305838/anthony-bourdain-dead/) on June 8. Eight seasons of _Parts Unknown_ currently streaming on Netflix were scheduled to [come off the platform](http://time.com/5288989/new-on-netflix-june-2018/) on June 16\. In the days following Bourdain’s death, fans [started a petition](https://www.change.org/p/netflix-keep-anthony-bourdain-s-parts-unknown-on-netflix) calling for Netflix to keep it on air. Netflix on Tuesday said it extended an agreement that will allow _Parts Unknown_ to stay on “for months to come.” > [](https://twitter.com/netflix/status/1006612115216453632) Bourdain, who was filming an [upcoming episode](http://time.com/5307244/anthony-bourdain-mother-gladys-bourdain/) of _Parts Unknown_ in Europe at the time of his death, had worked on the CNN show since 2013, traveling to uncovered places and introducing audiences to different cultures and food. CNN has continued to air episodes of _Parts Unknown_‘s eleventh season, with the latest one taking place in Berlin.
