In the video, Jay Z, Beyoncé, and [matriarch Ms. Tina Knowles Lawson](http://time.com/collection-post/3848852/tina-knowles-lawson-mothers-day-letter/) get down to Maze and Frankie Beverly’s “Before I Let Go,” in very much the same manner that your own uncle, aunt, and grandma might bust a move at a family party. And while everyone knows that Queen Bey is flawless ([and always on beat](http://time.com/3896056/beyonce-always-on-beat-dance/)) when she’s dancing, it’s especially fun to see Jay Z show off his moves with some undeniable joy. While the clip was originally posted and then deleted from Ms. Tina’s Instagram page, you can watch the full video below. ```json [{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"NewsArticle","@id":"https://time.com/5078078/beyonce-jay-z-electric-slide-video/","mainEntityOfPage":{"@type":"WebPage","@id":"https://time.com/5078078/beyonce-jay-z-electric-slide-video/"},"headline":"The Only Thing You Need to Watch Today Is This Video of Jay Z and Beyoncé Doing the Electric Slide","datePublished":"2017-12-23T00:48:07.000Z","dateModified":"2026-04-13T07:49:26.454Z","description":"Relationship goals","url":"https://time.com/5078078/beyonce-jay-z-electric-slide-video/","keywords":["Newsfeed","celebrities","viral","Beyonce","Jay-z"],"thumbnailUrl":"https://static.time.com/v3/assets/bltea6093859af6183b/blta49026f5eb4436ed/6988f66b929fad37fcbef033/jay-z-beyonce-electric-slide.jpg?branch=production&width=1200&quality=75&auto=webp&crop=1200:675&height=675","author":[{"@type":"Person","name":"Cady Lang","jobTitle":null,"url":"https://time.com/author/cady-lang/"}],"articleSection":"","image":[{"@type":"ImageObject","url":"https://static.time.com/v3/assets/bltea6093859af6183b/blta49026f5eb4436ed/6988f66b929fad37fcbef033/jay-z-beyonce-electric-slide.jpg?branch=production&width=1200&quality=75&auto=webp&crop=1200:675&height=675","width":1200,"height":675,"headline":"Rihanna's 3rd Annual Diamond Ball Benefitting The Clara Lionel Foundation at Cipriani Wall Street - Inside","caption":"Rihanna's 3rd Annual Diamond Ball Benefitting The Clara Lionel Foundation at Cipriani Wall Street - Inside","creditText":"Kevin Mazur—Getty Images for Clara Lionel Fo","representativeOfPage":true}],"publisher":{"@type":"Organization","name":"Time","url":"https://time.com/","logo":{"@type":"ImageObject","url":"https://time.com/images/logo.png","width":528,"height":156},"foundingDate":"March 3, 1923","sameAs":["https://www.facebook.com/time","https://www.instagram.com/time/?hl=en","https://twitter.com/time","https://www.pinterest.com/timemagazine"]}},{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"BreadcrumbList","itemListElement":[{"@type":"ListItem","position":1,"item":{"@id":"/tag/time-section-newsfeed/","name":"Newsfeed"}},{"@type":"ListItem","position":2,"item":{"@id":"https://time.com/5078078/beyonce-jay-z-electric-slide-video/","name":"The Only Thing You Need to Watch Today Is This Video of Jay Z and Beyoncé Doing the Electric Slide"}}]}] ```
