During a Tuesday appearance at the [University of Texas](http://time.com/3457598/matthew-mcconaughey-football-speech-university-of-texas/), the [Oscar winner](http://time.com/9414/oscars-2014-best-actor-prediction/) struck the ultimate power pose while delivering a speech to the men’s basketball team. The moment was captured on camera and tweeted out by the team, prompting a deluge of hilarious reactions to the actor’s savage stance. “Idk what McConaughey was saying but it must’ve been fierce af,” Twitter user [Flattop Filipino](https://twitter.com/malcham94) captioned the photo in a [tweet](https://twitter.com/malcham94/status/920403696898461698?ref%5Fsrc=twsrc%5Etfw&ref%5Furl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.kvue.com%2Fnews%2Flocal%2Fmens-basketball-team-receives-fierce-speech-from-actor-matthew-mcconaughey%2F484652187) that has since gone viral, earning over 193,000 likes and 58,000 retweets since Tuesday.
