Since President Donald Trump [tweeted](https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/917091286607433728?ref%5Fsrc=twsrc%5Etfw&ref%5Furl=http%3A%2F%2Ftime.com%2F4973848%2Fmike-pence-national-anthem-nfl-protest%2F) that he had told Pence to leave the game if any protesting occurred, _SNL_ ran with it — showing Trump, impersonated by [Alec Baldwin](http://time.com/4945509/alec-baldwin-emmys-acceptance-speech-trump/), tell Pence, played by _SNL_ actor [Beck Bennett](http://time.com/4974558/snl-safelite-skit-response/), to leave a variety of events. The first was an Indiana Pacers game where, much like Pence’s trip to the NFL last week, the vice president and his wife, Karen Pence, watched in the stands ahead of the game. When Trump calls, all is going well until Pence notices the couple that is getting married is two men.
