Actress and political activist [Ashley Judd](http://time.com/author/ashley-judd/) performed a spoken word piece at Saturday’s [Women’s March on Washington](http://motto.time.com/4642340/hillary-clinton-womens-march/), joining the dozens of speakers at the [massive event](http://time.com/4642303/womens-march-celebrities/) organized in direct response to the election of President Donald Trump.

“I am a nasty woman. I’m not as nasty as a man who looks like he bathes in Cheeto dust. A man whose words are a diss track to America,” Judd said, pacing about the stage.

The poem Judd performed was written by Nina Donovan, a 19-year-old from her home state of Tennessee, titled “I am a Nasty Woman.”

The poem borrows the words of [President Trump](http://time.com/4642287/president-trump-white-house-bio/), who called his opponent [Hillary Clinton](http://motto.time.com/4641070/womens-march-excludes-hillary-clinton/) “such a nasty woman” during a general election debate. The phrase has since become a rallying cry for women. The poem addressed a number of issues including seeing Confederate flag imagery plastered about the South, the struggles of the LGBT community and communities of color, as well as the cost of tampons and pads.

The [Washington _Post_](https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/2017/live-updates/politics/womens-march-on-washington/ashley-judd-reads-poem-i-am-a-nasty-woman/?utm%5Fterm=.279740d9d2ab) notes the poem included the line: “Our p—ies ain’t for grabbing. This p—- is for my pleasure and giving birth to more nasty woman.”
