In what might be the most glorious pop culture pairing ever, LA artist Michael Korte and arranger Jared Jenkins dropped #HAM4BEY, the Beyoncé–Hamilton musical mashup of your dreams.
The nearly 7-minute clip features singers India Carney, Vincint, Mariah Maxwell, Jej Millanes, Kelly Margareth Lee and Jamond McCoy performing a melody of songs from the hit Broadway musical Hamilton and the fiercest tracks from Beyoncé’s songbook.
While singing about one of America’s founding fathers with tracks like “Alexander Hamilton” and “My Shot” in tandem with Queen Bey’s “Countdown” and “Formation” might seem like an odd match, the mashup effortlessly melds the two genres in a way that will delight the Beyhive and Hamilton fans alike.
