With Daft Punk tour rumors flying rampant and the Beastie Boys’ Ad-Rock’s anti-hate speech rally in New York City, there’s been no better time for a very excellent Daft Punk/Beastie Boys mashup album to drop.
The free album is a collection of epic mashups of tracks from both artists that Toronto-based DJ and producer Coins has been making since 2014 — although this is the first time that he’s put the eight tracks together in an album, which he’s pithily titled Daft Science.
The album can be streamed for free on Bandcamp; it’s also available for listening below.
