News of the _Suits_ actress’ rumored relationship with the royal emerged in the [British press](http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/726701/prince-harry-meghan-markle-suits-actress-girlfriend-royal-family-relationship-secret-lover) over the weekend, and [_People_](http://people.com/royals/prince-harry-dating-meghan-markle-friend-confirms/) reported the story on Monday, pointing to the pair’s matching bracelets and shared love of animals, children and humanitarian work as evidence for their compatibility. British outlet [the](https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/2098495/prince-harrys-meghan-markle-instagram-budding-relationship-elephants/)[ _Sun_](https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/2098495/prince-harrys-meghan-markle-instagram-budding-relationship-elephants/) said Markle’s Instagram photos could hint at a royal romance because the elephant shape of the teapot could be “a subtle nod” to the prince’s campaigning for the protection of the endangered species.
