On Monday, _The Today Show_ brought us back to 1999—with none other than [host Carson Daly](http://entertainment.time.com/2010/02/10/top-10-mtv-moments/slide/farewell-trl/?iid=sr-link2) himself. In the blast from the past, Daly wore the exact same outfit he’d worn on the show before. We guess he hasn’t done much closet cleaning in the intervening years. The 43-year-old and ageless TV host almost looks younger in the shots from _Today_, despite the outmoded faded baggy jeans, dyed hair and extended sideburns, and a hint of nail polish. The rest of the _Today_ gang also got in 90s-appropriate costume, recreating looks from _Pulp Fiction_, _Seinfeld_, and others [as Daly counted down](http://www.today.com/video/today-halloween-90s-edition-see-the-costume-reveals-with-trl-host-carson-daly-797286979876) the iconic pop culture moments of the year.
