Thinking about buying a new iMac or MacBook? Hold off another week or so.
That’s because Apple is reportedly about to unveil long-awaited updates to its Mac lineup, per technology news site Recode. The Cupertino, Calif. company is set to make the news official on Oct. 27.
It’s been plus-or-minus a year since most of Apple’s desktops and laptops have gotten a refresh. Now’s a great time for Apple to finally go ahead and introduce some new models, as it’s got a new version of MacOS out (Sierra) and shoppers have their wallets ready for holiday buying season.
What’s Apple got in store? Here’s a clue from a report in Bloomberg, hinting at a high-end MacBook Pro aimed at video gamers and, perhaps, the virtual reality crowd:
