Bold and brassy graphic sweaters are a classic for the holiday season, and now Whoopi Goldberg is getting in on the action with a line of snarky and festive “ugly” Christmas sweaters.
The line, to be sold at Lord & Taylor beginning Nov. 1, features 11 sweaters with designs like “Bite Me,” featuring one gingerbread man biting another, and “Santa Love,” which depicts two Santas kissing. The cashmere-blend unisex sweaters will retail for $139.
“I have a lot of oddness in my brain,” the View co-host told WWD, “and so, this is the kind of stuff that I think about on a daily basis and happily, it all worked out. They’re fun and they’re sweet and they’re not nasty and they’re not mean. They’re very loving. And if you’re going to do something for the holidays, why not something positive?”
