Melania Trump’s Sunday night debate look came with a hefty price tag — and a tongue-in-cheek name.
Melania, who supported husband Donald Trump at the second Presidential debate in St. Louis, Missouri, from the audience, stood out in the $1,100 Gucci Pussy-bow silk crepe de chine shirt.
The shared language between Melania’s fashion and Donald’s latest faux-pas was likely unintentional, but still hard to ignore.
On Friday, The Washington Post released a 2005 video of the GOP candidate making lewd comments about women just months after he wed Melania.
At one point in the video, Trump told then-Access Hollywood star Billy Bush that he can grab women “by the p—-” because he’s a “star.”
The backlash against Donald was swift, with many major party leaders blasting their candidate’s lascivious words as akin to condoning or admitting sexual assault.
Ahead of the debate, Melania herself called her husband’s commentary “unacceptable and offensive.”
“This does not represent the man that I know,” she said in a statement. “He has the heart and mind of a leader.”
During Sunday’s debate, Trump asserted that his words were just “locker room talk.”
Still, he said, “I apologize to my family. To the American people. Certainly I’m not proud of it.”
