But in the case of one Ukrainian tech vlogger, the exact opposite was true. YouTube user [TechRax](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmlsu3V3SzIm2Jmo0S0qiMg "undefined") shared a video Wednesday of himself visiting the [world’s tallest building](http://content.time.com/time/photogallery/0,29307,1951575,00.html "undefined"), [Dubai’s Burj Khalifa](http://content.time.com/time/photogallery/0,29307,1951575,00.html "undefined"), for a special reason — to drop his [new iPhone](http://time.com/4487993/apple-iphone-7-review/ "undefined") from the 148th floor. In the clip, TechRax tosses the phone off the observation deck to fall 2,717 feet before heading back down to try and track where it fell. Unsurprisingly, he is unable to locate it. “This thing is fried,” he says. “It’s just completely destroyed.
