The [_Fifty Shades Darker_ trailer](http://time.com/4488696/50-shades-darker-trailer-video-watch/) broke the record for most trailer views in a single day following its Tuesday premiere, beating out [_Star Wars: The Force Awakens_](http://time.com/4171394/star-wars-force-awakens-records/)for the title.

The preview for the highly-anticipated [_Fifty Shades of_ _Grey_ sequel](http://time.com/3710416/fifty-shades-box-office-opening/?iid=sr-link7) — starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan — was watched 114 million times in the first 24 hours of its release, according to [_The Hollywood Reporter_](http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/fifty-shades-darker-viewed-trailer-929319)_,_ 2 million more than the 112 million mark set by _The Force Awakens_.

Within the first hour of its debut, the _Fifty Shades_ U.S. Facebook page alone had recorded more than 2.5 million views for the trailer. However, it was internationally that it truly shone, racking up 74.6 million total views across its 32 foreign markets.

_Fifty Shades Darker_ is set to hit theaters Feb. 10.
