During a recent [2016 Rio Summer Games](http://time.com/4456975/2016-rio-olympics-usain-bolt-de-grasse-smile/) feature for [The Scene](https://thescene.com), [_W Magazine_](https://thescene.com/watch/w/lyric-improv-with-olympians-we-are-the-champions)asked Olympians like gymnast [Gabby Douglas](http://time.com/4452516/rio-2016-olympics-leslie-jones-gabby-douglas-twitter/), swimmer Nathan Adrian and runner Allyson Felix to perform a cover of Queen’s “We Are the Champions.” While a few of them gave it their best go, belting out the ’70s anthem, others would only speak their lines.
