Kevin Smith Bashes Troll Who Attacked His Daughter Online

Kevin Smith took a hater to task for trolling his daughter on Instagram, telling the user, “randomly attacking others merely communicates how creatively and emotionally bankrupt you are.”

The troll, user name @kingpsysyphus, called Smith’s daughter Harley Quinn Smith ugly and insulted the upcoming movie she worked on with her father using vulgar language. “You’re cancer and I sincerely hope you end up like Lindsay lohan [sic] and dead,” he wrote. (Lindsay Lohan is of course very much alive.)

Smith struck back at the troll on Facebook, writing, “wow – way to unload on a teen girl because YOU have nothing to do in life … here’s a nickel’s worth of free advice for folks like this Troll: if you hate me (or my kid) this much, the better use of your time is to make YOUR dreams come true, instead of slamming others for doing the same.”

The father/daughter duo’s movie Yoga Hosers hits theaters Sept. 2.
