Pop superstar [Britney Spears](http://time.com/4441441/britney-spears-make-me-music-video/) is set to ride with the _Late Late Show_ host on Thursday, Aug. 25, one day before the release of her ninth album, reports [The Wrap](http://www.thewrap.com/britney-spears-to-ride-with-james-corden-on-carpool-karaoke/).

Just last month, First Lady Michelle Obama joined [Corden](http://time.com/4360019/james-corden-stephen-colbert-cbs-late-night/) for a drive around the grounds of the White House, where the pair sang songs by Stevie Wonder and Beyonce in a clip that has amassed nearly 39 million views in only three weeks.

The British entertainer has also harmonized with Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez and Justin Bieber—to name just a handful of the mega stars who have sat on the passenger’s seat beside him.

Spears’ highly anticipated new album, _Glory_, is the first she has released since 2013, with _Britney Jean_. The _Make Me_ singer, 34, announced the news of the album’s launch on Twitter last week, noting that it was the “beginning of a new era.”
