Jimmy Fallon will host the 2017 Golden Globe Awards.

NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt announced that The Tonight Show host had been tapped to preside over the 74th annual awards ceremony at the Television Critics Association summer press tour Tuesday.

Fallon announced the news via Twitter, joking that he is “looking forward to spending time with the Hollywood Foreign Press before Donald Trump has them all deported.”

Fallon follows Ricky Gervais, who returned to host the Golden Globes last year after three prior turns, and Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, who hosted from 2013-2015. Hosting an awards show isn’t new for Fallon, who previously helmed the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards. He has also presented awards at the Golden Globes several times.

The 2017 Golden Globes will air Jan. 8 from the Beverly Hilton from 8 to 11 p.m. ET. Nominations will be announced Dec. 12.
