The first look at Guy Ritchie’s take on the iconic legend looks like the most Guy Ritchie film ever. King Arthur begins as a man living in a brothel and rises to the level of king.
The stylistic, modern spin on the story stars Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam as Arthur and Jude Law as the big bad. Hunnam was on hand at San Diego Comic-Con Saturday to offer a first look at the film.
“You have sweet talking fast pinching lovable rogues that guide you through this,” said Hunnam during the panel. “They are basically a bunch of degenerates, but they are the ones who’ve been chosen to lead the country and defeat the evil foe.”
