The 22-year-old singer posed alongside 2013 US Open winner Justin Rose for the magazine’s “Cool Issue.” While this move may come as a surprise to some, Horan revealed that he has long had a passion for golf, explaining that he often used the sport as a fun distraction while touring with 1D. “When I was on the road with One Direction it allowed me to escape the hotel for a few hours and relax,” he [told _Golfer_](http://www.aol.co.uk/entertainment/2016/07/07/niall-horan-used-golf-to-escape-while-on-the-road-with-one-direction/). “Harry (Styles) and I used to play a fair bit and travelling so much has allowed me to play some amazing courses all over the world.
