Just in time for summer playlists, DJ Mustard has dropped a new song that will appeal to R&B and rap fans alike. The banger, titled “Don’t Hurt Me,” has prominent features of Nicki Minaj and Jeremih over Mustard’s trademark beat.
This is the first time that Nicki and Jeremih have teamed up for a track since her 2014 album, The Pinkprint, and their verses don’t disappoint.
Nicki in particular kills her verse with her signature bravado, going in with lyrics like, “All these b–s beggin’ me to pass the baton/All these b–s tryna fit my crown and my wand/B–s still my sons, get your sonogram on/Just a nick of time I did the cover of TIME/Gettin’ a million dollars just to stand there and rhyme.”
The song is now only available exclusively on Tidal, but you can hear a preview of it here.
