New Game of Thrones Photos Offer a Sneak Peek at the ‘Battle of the Bastards’

Warning: This post contains spoilers for the sixth season of Game of Thrones.

The ninth episode of Game of Thrones‘ sixth season is shaping up to be (arguably) the most highly-anticipated hour in series history. Dubbed “Battle of the Bastards,” Sunday’s installment will finally pit the son of the last true Warden of the North, Jon Snow, against usurper Ramsay Bolton in what’s sure to be an epic — and bloody — showdown for control of Winterfell.

However, Jon and Ramsay won’t be the only characters in play. As HBO’s eight new promotional photos show, Sansa Stark, Davos Seaworth, Tormund Giantsbane and Wun Wun — everyone’s favorite Wildling giant — will also be caught up in the fray.
