James Corden plans to try to convince Tony Award attendees like Barbara Streisand to perform during the commercial breaks, the actor and Tony Awards host said during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers.
“There’s all these incredibly talented people in there,” Corden said. “We’ll have our own show that no one will see.”
Asked for feedback, Meyers said some attendees might be mad at Corden when the show comes back on and singers are forced off the stage. “If I get Barbara Streisand to sing, I won’t care,” Corden replied.
