A 60-year-old woman died Sunday in an apparent shark attack on Australia’s western coast—the second recorded attack of its kind in a week, authorities said.

The woman who was diving off Perth suffered significant injuries “consistent with a shark attack,” according to the BBC and the Government of Western Australia’s “Shark Smart” website.

The government has not yet confirmed that a shark caused the death, but the Department of Fisheries is “treating the incident as a fatal shark incident,” it said. Officials believe the source was a nearly 10-foot white shark based on the “nature of the injuries and the location of the incident.”

It’s the second death in less than six days, the BBC reports. A 29-year-old surfer died last week after being attacked by a shark south of Perth.
