You’ll never have to endure to lunch rush at Chick-fil-A again thanks to the chain’s new mobile app.
The fast food restaurant launched a mobile ordering app called “Chick-fil-A One.” It allows customers to place their order before arriving at their local outpost, and pick it up at a designated counter without having to wait in line.
The app lets you customize your orders and save your favorites, to make the process even quicker the next time around. The company’s senior manager of digital experience, Michael Lage, told Business Insider that it’s particularly helpful for those with young kids: “I have a 2-year-old daughter, and I can’t imagine interacting with Chick-fil-A without the app anymore.”
Chick-fil-A joins the ranks of other fast food chains that have recently implemented mobile ordering including Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Taco Bell. Business Insider notes that even McDonald’s, the nation’s largest fast food chain, is testing out an app.
But Chick-fil-A One isn’t just a mobile ordering app; it’s also a rewards program. Every time you buy something, you get closer to receiving a free treat. The app shows you your progress by filling in part of a red circle each time you buy something. Once it’s complete, you can choose between three items. You can even rate the rewards you get so the app can offer you treats in the future that are better suited to your preferences.
Additionally, those who download Chick-fil-A One between June 1 and June 11 will receive a free original, spicy, or grilled chicken sandwich.
