Brie Larson Is Engaged to Alex Greenwald

Brie Larson’s 2016 is off to a great start; she won the Academy Award for Best Actress, hosted Saturday Night Live and just got engaged.

Larson’s rep confirmed to People that she’s now engaged to her boyfriend of multiple years, Alex Greenwald, who sings in the band Phantom Planet.

Larson told Greenwald she loved him during her Oscar acceptance speech this year and told Entertainment Tonight in January, “He’s the other half of the equation—how can you explain support? I mean, it goes beyond anything. He’s just my person, he’s my best friend.”
