As far as the billionaire investor is concerned, it doesn’t matter whether Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton wins the presidency in November. He made these remarks to a packed arena of nearly 40,000 Berkshire Hathaway shareholders at the company’s annual meeting in Omaha, Nebraska. He said the country is headed in the right direction, and “no presidential candidate or president is going to end it.” For nearly six hours, Buffett fielded questions from journalists and shareholders on the stock market, future acquisitions, and the company’s succession plans.
