Thursday’s episode of Lip Sync Battle has not even aired on Spike yet, but a 30-second preview of Agents of S.H.I.E.LD. star Clark Gregg’s spin on Britney Spears’s “Toxic” is already blowing up online.
The Marvel actor will appear in a version of the blue flight attendant uniform that the pop diva wore in the song’s music video as he competes with another Marvel actor Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter).
The appearance caps off their ongoing “friendly lip syncing feud” for charity, in which they would post Dubsmash videos (using the app that dubs clips with different songs), allowing fans to “vote” for their favorite one by making a donation. Atwell’s team ended up winning that competition, so that may explain why it looks like Gregg is pulling out all the stops for this Lip Sync Battle performance.
The full episode airs April 21 at 10:00 p.m. ET.
