South Korea Says North Korea Has Large-Caliber Multiple Launch Rocket System

South Korea says its hostile neighbor to the North now has a large-caliber multiple launch rocket system that could make the South vulnerable to attack this year.

This news follows earlier reports that South Korea believes North Korea also has the ability to put a nuclear warhead on a medium-range missile, the Washington Post reports.

China has responded to the increased rocket and missile testing in North Korea by tightening trade restrictions with its ally this week, banning the import of goods that could benefit North Korea’s nuclear program.
