Nail polish remover is a necessary evil for those who like to keep their nails painted, but the acetone-based liquid may be stronger than you originally thought. The latest video from Let’s Melt This shows the product completely melting a coffee cup. When the styrofoam is pressed into a plate of remover, it dissolves into a puddle of foamy white goo in a matter of seconds.

As its name suggests, the YouTube channel is known for melting down various household items. Past videos have included footage of sulphuric acid destroying a sock and molten aluminum devouring a chocolate Easter bunny.
