The Revenant may have been this year’s awards season darling, but that didn’t stop the team over at Screen Junkies from having a go at it. The Best Picture nominee became the latest film to receive the honest trailer treatment on Tuesday. “From Leonardo DiCaprio…comes a production that put the cast through physical and mental torture to film, and put the audience through two and a half hours of mild boredom to watch,” the voiceover begins.

After reminding viewers how much of the footage is “slow shots of pretty landscapes,” the narrator points out that even the film’s action scenes are so over the top they’re “one music change away from becoming Jackass.”
