House Speaker Paul Ryan will deliver an address to his fellow Republicans on Wednesday morning, during which he plans to encourage his party to rise above what has been a contentious and bitter presidential race to focus anew on policy ideas.
“Looking around at what’s taking place in politics today, it is easy to get disheartened,” Ryan will say, according to prepared remarks from his speech. “How many of you find yourself just shaking your head at what you see from both sides?”
His speech is scheduled for 11 a.m. E.T. Watch it live above.
