When photographer Sean Scott recently visited Flinders Island in Tasmania, Australia, he made a tiny new best friend, Derrick the wombat. The baby animal was caught on tape following Scott around and running straight towards the camera.
Scott also captured some adorable close-up shots of the young wombat.

He wrote on Facebook that Derrick is currently being cared for by Kate, “the wombat lady of Flinders Island.”
