McShane, who will be making h[is Game of Thrones debut in the next season](http://time.com/3981269/game-of-thrones-ian-mcshane/ "undefined"), rattled fans when he told [_Pop Goes the News_](http://popgoesthenews.com/2015/11/12/exclusive-ian-mcshane-offers-hint-about-game-of-thrones-role/ "undefined") in November last year that his role would bring a popular character back to life. “I’ll give you one hint,” the _Deadwood_ actor told _Pop Goes The News_.“I am responsible for bringing somebody back that you think you’re never going to see again.
