The contest is open to any Scottish [canine](http://time.com/4246417/kobe-bryant-dog-name-harry-potter-obsession/ "undefined") who is outgoing, [well-trained](http://time.com/4251197/iditarod-trail-sled-dog-race-photos/ "undefined") and has “a ‘nose’ for the best food & drink, events and walks across the country,” according to [VisitScotland](https://careers.denholmassociates.com/Advert/810-VisitScotland-Ambassadog-Jobs-Scotland.aspx#.VuARl3iC7w8.twitter "undefined"). The [winning pup](http://time.com/4246251/french-bulldog-puppy-skateboard/ "undefined") and its owner must be able to travel around Scotland — and potentially all of the U.K. — to act as international ambassadors for their home nation and show tourists everything Scotland has to offer.
