While many fans were overjoyed by the return of the Tanner family when [_Fuller House_](http://time.com/4246438/full-house-nights-colbert/)hit Netflix a week ago Friday, some critics weren’t very taken with the reboot of the ’90s sitcom. So when John Stamos made an appearance on Thursday’s episode of _Late Night with Seth Meyers_, the host decided to take full advantage of these hilariously harsh criticisms by reading a few of them aloud to poor [Uncle Jesse](http://time.com/4227193/fuller-house-cast-comforts-donald-trump/).

One of the more brutal jabs comes from the [_Washington Post_](https://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/tv/you-already-know-fuller-house-is-bad-but-are-you-adult-enough-to-resist-it/2016/02/24/b2116982-d994-11e5-925f-1d10062cc82d%5Fstory.html)_._ “There’s a point where nostalgia becomes more like necrophilia,” Meyers reads. “And _Fuller House_ immediately crosses that line.”
