Texas Senator Ted Cruz wants to reignite the promise of America and, according to this video, that begins by sticking garden gnomes in a building. The geniuses behind [Bad Lip Reading](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC67f2Qf7FYhtoUIF4Sf29cA) have turned their attention and impeccable lip reading skills onto the Republican presidential hopeful and the results are impressive. In what will undoubtedly not be a new campaign slogan, Cruz takes aim at “juicy Americans.”

In this clip, the senator hates freckles, loves to twerk and likes to pass the time lighting camp cabins on fire and running away. His wife swears that Cruz is always the first one to say, “Let’s go out and eat hair!” That would certainly reignite the promise of America.
