You can now listen to the smooth cadence of Morgan Freeman’s voice giving GPS directions, thanks to Google’s free navigation app Waze.
The actor lent his voice to the app as part of a promotion for London Has Fallen, the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen. In the movie, Freeman plays Vice President Trumbill, which is why he addresses listening drivers as “president” in the app: “The time has arrived, President Wazer. The world awaits your commands.”
In another clip, Freeman reminds you that the weight of the free world is on your shoulders: “The American people are counting on you… to drive. Let’s go.”
Don’t worry if there are possible roadblocks ahead, Vice President Trumbull has you covered: “Accident reported ahead. I’ll get a line to emergency command.”
Once at your destination, Freeman intones: “You’ve arrived. It’s been my honor and duty to see you through this mission.”
