A new video takes the audio from the Suicide Squad trailer and pairs it with the visuals of Guardians of the Galaxy. The end result is like the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup of movie trailers—two great tastes that taste great together.
The video comes courtesy of first-time movie mashup editor Robert Jones, who posted it on YouTube to share his love of the two films that star bands of misfits coming together to save the world. He had noted the similarities between the unlikely grouping of Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Peter Quill, Rocket Raccoon, Gamora, and Groot and Suicide Squad‘s ragtag team of super villains
Suicide Squad, which stars Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Cara Delivingne and more, hits theaters on August 5th. Production has just begun on Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
