Barry Manilow was rushed from Memphis to a Los Angeles hospital on Thursday when complications from an earlier surgery began to arise.
The news was announced to fans on the 72-year-old singer’s Facebook page.
“Following a triumphant sold out concert in Memphis, Barry Manilow was rushed back to Los Angeles due to complications from emergency oral surgery that Manilow had on Monday,” the statement read.
Manilow’s Thursday and Friday Nashville concerts, which are part of his One Last Time Tour, are being rescheduled. Although new dates have not yet been decided on, ticket holders are being asked to keep their current tickets in order to redeem a new one at the new show.
On top of having to cancel performances, it’s unclear if Manilow, who is nominated for his 15th Grammy, will still make an appearance at the awards show on Monday.
