But the two appeared to have made amends in recent years. Swift presented West with a [lifetime achievement award](http://time.com/4016437/vmas-2015-kanye-west-taylor-swift-video-vanguard-award/ "undefined") at the VMAs in August, and she joked about running on his presidential ticket when he [sent her flowers](https://www.instagram.com/p/7OZIdGDvFT/ "undefined") afterward.
