James Corden had Super Bowl 50 on lock.
The host of The Late Late Show not only covered Sunday’s big game with his live show, he sent his own parents, Malcolm and Margaret Corden, to cover the event as “roving sports reporters.” The two came back to the show on Wednesday night to share their experiences.
At media week, the Corden parents asked questions of the Super Bowl quarterbacks, Peyton Manning (“You and I are similar sort of ages, wouldn’t you agree?”) and Cam Newton (“Could we have a Kiss Cam Cam with my wife?”). Malcolm played saxophone for Coldplay to try out for the halftime show. They tried Snapchat for the first time, and even got lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings with New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski.
