We wrote like two hours of jokes about Democrats, but we had to throw them all out because then the Republicans laid out a banquet of all-you-can-eat crazy,” said Bee, who was formerly a correspondent on _The Daily Show._ Bee mocked Florida Sen. Marco Rubio’s [“scripted” debate performance](http://time.com/4211023/republican-debate-marco-rubio-chris-christie/ "undefined"), described Texas Sen. Ted Cruz as suffering from “[stage 4 cancer of the personality](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhV5aOrz55E "undefined")” and ridiculed all of them for failing to walk out on stage smoothly. “Saturday’s Republican debate went off the rails at about the negative 1 minute mark, when 43% of Republican candidates failed the important presidential test: Can you walk successfully to a podium—a task routinely mastered by laboratory mice and frightened 4-year-olds on _Toddlers and Tiaras,”_ she said.
