Super Bowl Sunday has almost become synonymous with excessive overeating and snacking. But if you’re watching the big game from the stands, be prepared to shell out an excessive amount of money for drinks.
Football fans are being asked to pay $13 for a Coors Light and even $7 for a bottle of water at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., according to Sports Illustrated. And a cheese and salami board will set you back $15.
It’s the first time a Super Bowl is being played at the field, which is home to the San Francisco 49ers. The Carolina Panthers are set to take on the Denver Broncos during Super Bowl 50. Both teams were the top seeds in their respective conferences going into the playoffs.
