Now, just ahead of the Jan. 29 release of his album _Nine Track Mind_, Puth is having much better luck with recent _Saturday Night Live_ guest [Selena Gomez](http://time.com/4053719/selena-gomez-revival-interview/) on their breezy new collaboration, “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” which ditches the cringe-worthy lyrics about a departed soul legend in favor of a tropical spin on a torch song.
