Apparently Some Dude in Canada Drove a Car Covered in a Giant Snowbank

1 minute read

A major snowstorm is in the forecast for the East Coast this weekend, but farther north in Canada, there’s already tons of snow. So much, apparently, that a man in Brussels, Ontario, decided to drive his car covered in a huge snowbank.

The Ontario Provincial Police shared a photo of the vehicle on Twitter Tuesday. “Can’t make this stuff up,” the caption read. “Driver charged today in Brussels actually driving like this.”

According to the Globe and Mail, the driver was pulled over, charged with “driving with no clear view” and slapped with a $110 fine.

The only thing that would make this story more Canadian would be if he’d apologized to the police profusely and then invited them all to a hockey game. Or if the car had been covered not with snow but with maple syrup.
