Plenty of Saturday Night Live alums, from Tina Fey to Kristen Wiig, have appeared on former SNL writer Mike O’Brien’s web series, 7 Minutes in Heaven. The latest SNL veteran to make an appearance is Will Ferrell, star of the recent movie Daddy’s Home. Like all previous installments of 7 Minutes in Heaven, it’s a little awkward, very funny and recorded entirely in a closet.
About two and a half minutes in, O’Brien introduces a game called Meme This Choke.
“We’re gonna have Will start choking me for three seconds,” O’Brien explains, “and then you guys put the words on, like ‘When you find out your neighbor’s been borrowing mower without asking.'”
It’s a valiant effort to stay relevant in the Internet era. From there, things only get more awkward. Enjoy.
