Selena Gomez’s “Same Old Love” just got a revamp from “Trap Queen” rapper Fetty Wap, who laid down some vocals to put his own spin on Gomez’s single from her latest album Revival. Fetty adds two verses of his signature mumble rap-sing to the track, in which he too laments a past lover.
The Gomez collaboration follows Fetty Wap’s quick rise to fame in 2015. Just last month, the rapper put out a Christmas song, a surprise EP, and released his own set of emojis. And Gomez herself is coming into 2016 blazing, still churning out hit singles from her chart-topping album. She’ll also tour with the collection this summer. It’s no wonder both of the musicians were recently featured in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in the music category.
